Celebrating St. Patrick's Day
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Downtown Fargo was a St. Patty's celebration full of lots of green!By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The parade started at 3:00 right by the Old Broadway. Over 80 different groups walked the street, up to 6th avenue.
Bagpipers, Irish Dancers and everybody dressed in green kept the Irish theme alive. Mayor Dennis Walaker even found time away from flood talks to throw out candy.
"St. Patrick's day is for everybody, everyone is Irish that day period, no matter what."
Last year the parade attracted around 5-thousand people.
