Officials concerned with home on Rivershore Drive in Moorhead
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Some homes in Moorhead could have flooding problems as soon as Wednesday.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Officials say they're most concerned about homes on Rivershore Drive, near I-94. Semi's have been hauling sandbags to the area all day. To make driving those drop sites easier to get to, they're asking residents to not park on the street.
To help make more sandbags the city will be getting a spider machine tomorrow.
“We will fire those up as quickly as possible if we do need to go into more production.”
Volunteers are asked to go to MSUM's Nemzek field house. They'll be bussing people until midnight tonight. Concordia College has called off class tomorrow so students, faculty and staff to help sandbag.
Concordia will provide a shuttle service from the College to Nemzek Hall at MSU-Moorhead at 8 tomorrow morning. Classes will resume as Wednesday, as scheduled.
