Seahawks release former NDSU standout

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Former West Fargo and North Dakota State running back Tyler Roehl has been released by the Seattle Seahawks.

Roehl signed as a free agent with the Seahawks after the NFL Draft in April 2009.

He missed last season after injuring a knee in practice last June.
