Flooding closes part of Highway 93 near Henderson

Tom Phillips is the emergency management director for Sibley County and the city of Henderson. He says water from the Rush River is running over the road at Highway 93.
Phillips says authorities are also watching Highway 19 east of Henderson and County Road 6, north of Henderson. Those roads are currently open, but Phillips says the situation could change quickly depending on ice jams or log jams.
In northwestern Minnesota, part of U.S. Highway 75 is closed due to major flooding near Kent. MnDOT says Minnesota Highway 200 near Ada is also closed due to flooding.
