Woman reports armed robbery in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Grand Forks police say a woman reported being robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of a local bingo parlor.

The woman told officers that a man approached her from behind shortly before 7 p.m. Monday, displayed a handgun, knocked her to the ground and ran off with her wallet.

The woman was not seriously hurt.
