(WDAY TV) - The executive director of the North Dakota Retirement and Investment Office says the North Dakota's teacher's fund has taken a hit from the economic meltdown.
They say the pension fund is projected to run out of money by 2033. A solution might involve appealing to the state or school districts.
The fund's board meets Tuesday to decide on what recommendation it will make. Officials say retired teachers won't be affected by whatever solutions the legislature ends up considering.
