ND Guard soldiers mobilize for flood fight
FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota National Guard is mobilizing soldiers and airman to help with flood fighting in eastern North Dakota.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota National Guard is mobilizing soldiers and airman to help with flood fighting in eastern North Dakota.
Col. Ronald Solberg says up to 400 guardsmen will be mobilized by Tuesday for work in the counties of Barnes, Cass, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele and Traill.
The guardsmen will begin 12-hour shifts doing a variety of flood-related work, including traffic control and sandbagging.
