Supreme Court to review un-allotment by Gov. Pawlenty

(WDAY TV) - Tomorrow, Supreme Court justices will review whether Governor Tim Pawlenty exceeded his authority when he used executive power to chop 2.7 billion dollars from the state budget.

He used the move, called "un-allotment," to cancel several programs.

The move sparked litigation that goes before the state Supreme Court on Monday. The justices will weigh whether his action intruded on the legislature's constitutional authority.
