NORTHWOOD, N.D. (AP) — The small northeastern North Dakota town of Northwood is hosting a concert featuring three nationally touring Christian rock bands.
Seventh Day Slumber, DecembeRadio and Kiros are to play Sunday night in the Northwood High School gym. The school was built after a tornado devastated the town in August 2007.
Sixteen-year-old Zach Raknerud helped plan the concert, which is sponsored by a local youth ministry. He says the bands are playing in stadiums with 6,000 people. The capacity for the Northwood concert is 1,500.
