Fargo Shanley beats Mandan 57-52 for fifth place
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Nicole Carew had a double-double Saturday to lead Fargo Shanley over Mandan 57-52 in the fifth-place game at the North Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Nicole Carew had a double-double Saturday to lead Fargo Shanley over Mandan 57-52 in the fifth-place game at the North Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
Carew scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Deacons (15-10). She was the only Shanley player in double figures.
Steph Pedersen had 21 points and three rebounds for Mandan (11-14). Anna Helmers added 11 and Mic Longtin 10.
