Century rallies in 2nd half to beat Fargo North
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck Century rallied in the second half to post a 61-56 win over Fargo North in Friday's semifinals at the North Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck Century rallied in the second half to post a 61-56 win over Fargo North in Friday's semifinals at the North Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
The Patriots (22-2) trailed 32-26 at the half, but they held Fargo North (15-9) to just 37 percent shooting in the second half and came back to reach the finals.
Carli Peterson scored 17 points, Madi Buck added 15 and Alexis Jacobs 10 for Bismarck Century.
Fargo North (15-9) had a balanced offense. Tana Teschendorf had 11 points and Haley Reinholz and Angie Waller had 10 each for the Spartans.
