ND Guard biathlon team sweeps national event

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota National Guard biathlon team swept a national competition in Camp Ripley, Minn., over the weekend.

Biathlon involves skiing and shooting. The North Dakota team won two individual 20 kilometer races and two 22.5 kilometer relay races.

Spc. Jordan Becker of Devils Lake, the team coach, says it's the best the North Dakota team has ever done.
