Honoring the best airmen in the 119th wing
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - It was a day to honor the best airmen in the 119th wing of the North Dakota National Guard.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Dressed in their finest military clothes, more than 300 guardsmen and women honored their fellow soldiers. Out of 12 nominees, only three took home the big awards, including "Airman of the Year."
"It's important to recognize our people for the good work they do year in and year out. And tonight we were able to honor the best of the best."
Master Sargent Shane Amundson of West Fargo took home the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year. And Senior Airman Erik Foss of Minot got the Senior Airman of the Year.
