Police: UND student accidentally shoots self
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a University of North Dakota student has accidentally shot himself in the leg.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a University of North Dakota student has accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Campus police identified the student as 28-year-old Brad Uvelhor.
Police say Uvelhor was in his campus apartment on Saturday afternoon when the gun discharged, wounding him in the leg. Uvelhor had bought the firearm at a gun show earlier in the day.
Uvelhor was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No information on condition was being released.
