Moorhead man to be sentenced in connection to a fatal bus crash

(WDAY TV) - This afternoon, a Moorhead man will be sentenced in Wright County in connection to a bus crash that killed a Pelican Rapids teen.
Earlier this year, 71-year-old Loren Ernst plead guilty to gross misdemeanor of criminal vehicular operation. More serious charges were dropped.
In April of 2008, Ernst was driving a charter bus home from Chicago when it crashed on I-94 near Albertville, Minnesota. 16-year-old Jessica Weishair died in the crash. Ernst isn't expected to be sentenced to anymore than 30 days behind bars.
