3 being inducted into ND Ag Hall
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — Three people are being inducted into the North Dakota Agricultural Hall of Fame, including former Gov. Ed Schafer.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — Three people are being inducted into the North Dakota Agricultural Hall of Fame, including former Gov. Ed Schafer.
The inductions are Saturday afternoon during the North Dakota Winter Show in Valley City.
Schafer is the first North Dakotan to serve as federal Agriculture Secretary.
Eugene Dahl was instrumental in several farm equipment companies, including Steiger, Melroe and Concord.
Soil scientist Armand Bauer established and supervised the first soil testing lab at the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station.
