Lake Park, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A Becker County jury convicted a Lake Park man of criminal vehicular homicide.
After 7 hours of deliberation jurors decided that Jeremy Nelson is guilty for causing an accident that killed another man back in August of 2008. Nelson was driving his pickup on a county road at 90 miles an hour at 3-am when he hit an ATV in a ditch driven by Christopher Carlson.
Carlson was thrown almost 350 feet and Nelson, who was intoxicated at the time, fled the scene. He faces up to 4 years in prison.
