5-year-old's dream comes true at the ND Air National Guard
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Happy Hooligans made dreams come true at the North Dakota Air National Guard today. 5-year old Jordan Dvorak of Grand Forks got the V-I-P treatment and became a Pilot for a Day.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Jordan was diagnosed with Leukemia in August. Today his battle with cancer was far out of his mind as he, his parents, and friends from daycare got a base tour, a ride in a fire truck, a jet demonstration, and a pizza party and special prizes.
“We appreciate what they are doing for my son and at the same token they are so appreciative for allowing Jordan to be part of this.”
The pilot for the day isn't a new event. The Hooligans temporarily took a break in 2007 because of a changed mission. Now they say they're excited to bring it back.
