Air Traffic Controller's son makes transmissions with aircrafts

(WDAY TV) - This morning, the F-A-A is investigating something alarming that happened at one of the nation's busiest airports.

An air traffic controller brought his son to work at JFK International in New York and let him make 5 transmissions with aircraft about to take off. Take a listen.

“AeroMex 403 contact departure, adios.”

“Contact departure Air Mexico 403, adios”

The controller and his supervisor have been taken off air traffic control will officials investigate. The FAA says the behavior is unacceptable and doesn't demonstrate professionalism.
