Cass County to use WEB OC communication system
(WDAY TV) - For the first time, Cass County is becoming more involved in a statewide management system for this flood season. It's called WEB O-C.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The system allows county agencies to see what is going on across the state with things like shelters, emergency declarations, and river forecasts. The county will now be reporting it's own information so other departments within Cass can communicate better.
This will help document events, make requests, and coordinate response efforts.
“We've used it before, the past couple of years to communicate with the state, but we've never used it as our own incident management system.”
County leaders will start training on the WEB O-C in Bismarck next week.
