Fairground and humane society to take in pets during flood
West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - If we would flood this year, Red River Fairground officials say dogs and cats will have a safe place again.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
One change though, livestock will not have the same option.
Last year the Humane Society took care of more than 200 cats and dogs and nearly 100 horses on the fairgrounds.
Livestock will not be accepted this year because it’s too expensive to house them with no help from FEMA.
