About 50 people talked about lessons learned from the last flood at the Armed Forces center in Wahpeton today. Officials focused on "trigger points," places most likely to be hit by flood waters, and to have sandbags and other resources ready.

"Pre-staging of resources, materials, by the county end of it and to the cities and also with the sandbags already in most parts of the county in the areas and that will just make it that much quicker of a response."

Richland officials are looking to start filling and giving out sandbags on weekends beginning in March.
