The Pirates hope to make State for the third time in a row

Three wins at regions and then the eventual trip to state.

The Pirates have won the last two region one titles and have advanced to the semis this season. The year hasn't been as smooth as they wanted but here they are again.

“This season more than last season we had to struggle thru it. We've had a lot more games and a couple losses. The girls have learned that you keep playing and don't quit, and as a coach you love having a team of girls that will do that for you.”

“We've always had the desire to go back to State. Basketball is our life so we just want to get back there.”

The Pirates face Milnor tonight in Wahpeton.
