Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) – It is a prestigious honor for Minnesota State Moorhead and its Campus Security Director.
Michael Parks is of one of 10 finalists for campus Safety Director of the Year. It's an award handed out every year by Campus safety magazine to honor the top police chiefs and security directors at universities, schools and hospitals across the country.
Parks was nominated for his leadership during last year's flood fight. The winner will be announced at a national conference in Los Angeles at the end of March.
