Harwood man arrested for beating a woman with a baseball bat

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Harwood man is accused of beating a woman with a baseball bat and choking her in her South Fargo apartment Sunday.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Harwood man is accused of beating a woman with a baseball bat and choking her in her South Fargo apartment Sunday.

Police say 43-year old Dana Poitra ignored their orders to get off of the woman, so they tased him.

Police say the door had been kicked in, and they found a baseball bat at the scene. Poitra faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault.
