Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The federal government opened its doors to help people who are less fortunate, with their taxes. The Fargo IRS Office was open from 9 to 2.
It was one of 200 other Taxpayer Assistance Centers open throughout the nation. The office's hours are weekly from 8-30 to 4-30.
That makes it difficult for people who work during the day to get in and get help with tax questions.
“The people who have come in have really appreciated the fact that we've been open.”
The office has people to help with language barriers.
