FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Preston Lehmann's pin at 160 pounds lifted West Fargo to a 36-30 win Friday over Bismarck in the Class A team dual wrestling championship.

Lehmann pinned Kip Jangula in 4:29 of the final match. The Packers snapped Bismarck's 10-year reign as state team dual champion.

Bismarck had been the only team to win a Class A team dual title since the format was introduced in 2000.

Eric Lehmann at 189 and Tyler Lehmann at 215 helped the Packers to a big early lead.

West Fargo also dominated the lower weights before Bismarck rallied to tie it 30-30 on Drew Spaulding's major decision at 152.

Meanwhile, Oakes defended its Class B team dual title with a 36-27 win over Carrington. Since 2001, the team that's won the Class B team duals also has won the state individual team title.

Bismarck and Oakes are the defending individual team titlists and lead heading into Saturday's final day.
