ND grandma targets grandson's pit bulls
REGENT, N.D. (AP) — A woman in the southwest North Dakota town of Regent is trying to ban pit bulls from the community, after finding out her adult grandson was bringing in three of the dogs.

Patty Robbins says she hopes her action doesn't damage her relationship with her grandson but isn't sure about the effects of the petition she circulated targeting pit bulls and Rottweilers.
David Winegar says his grandmother "freaked out" about his dogs but he says the two still get along.
The final decision will be up to the City Council. Auditor Karen Kouba says a public hearing likely will be held in a couple of weeks.
