Candidate promises to bring young voice to Bismarck

(WDAY TV) - The state's newest 2010 political candidate promises to bring a young voice to Bismarck.

29-Year-old Prairie Rose Seminole is running for the House of Representatives. She's has been an advocate and community activist regarding education, women's leadership, health care insurance reform, human rights, tribal relations and more.

She hopes to be advocate for job and technology growth and creating opportunities for the younger generations.

“We have a lot of older legislators, who serve in the Senate and House, who are somewhat disconnected from not only urban young people's lives, but what other opportunities we have in the urban areas of North Dakota, but bringing a young voice to Bismarck will allow us to better deepen our perspective.”

Seminole is seeking the district 45 Democratic-NPL endorsement.
