Wahpeton selects new superintendent

WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — The Wahpeton School District has named a successor to longtime superintendent Mike Connell.

School board President Deb Mauch says Wyndmere Superintendent Rick Jacobson was chosen for his experience and background in finance.

Connell is retiring at the end of the school year after 21 years in the district. Jacobson starts July 1.
