NEW TOWN, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of two people killed in a head-on collision near Four Bears Casino west of New Town.
NEW TOWN, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of two people killed in a head-on collision near Four Bears Casino west of New Town.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol identified them as 29-year-old Darrell Danks of New Town and his passenger, 39-year-old Kristie Sorensen of Halliday.
The patrol says they were in a pickup heading east on state Highway 23 that collided with a westbound truck coming from the casino and caught on fire. The crash happened Friday morning.
The driver of the second pickup, 32-year-old Gabriel Black Hawk of New Town, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He's been charged with driving under the influence.
A number for Black Hawk was not listed.
