Concordia students get some life-like training
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Thanks to some big donations and new technology, nursing students at Concordia are getting some extremely life like training.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Students are now working in this simulated hospital room. They'll work on manikins, which professors can modify to need different treatments. One of the manikins even gives birth, literally! Just like the other manikins they can adjust the birthing process.
“She goes through labor fast or goes through labor slow, different baby situations so the students get an idea of different situations and then how to react in those situations.”
The list of businesses and groups either donated money or equipment to help create the center for Concordia.
