Train, snow plow collide in ND
GRAFTON, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol says there were no apparent serious injuries when a snow plow collided with a train in northeastern North Dakota.
GRAFTON, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol says there were no apparent serious injuries when a snow plow collided with a train in northeastern North Dakota.
The collision happened about 1 p.m. Tuesday at a Walsh County road crossing between Fordville and Forest River. The patrol says the snow plow driver was taken to a Park River medical center to be checked.
The engineer on the Northern Plains Railroad train with two engines and 11 empty cars was not hurt. The train stayed on the tracks.
