Southeastern ND hit by snow every day this month(WDAY TV) - One of the harder hit areas this winter has been Southeastern North Dakota. If there's a snowflake in the air, it'll find Ransom, Sargent or Richland County. It's also snowed there everyday this month. One business owner in Sargent County has a part-time job he never wanted, clearing snow.

It has snowed everyday this month in Southeastern North Dakota. Darwin Fliehs owns Forman Repair, he says it takes him about 3 hours to clear out his business and private driveways. A job that was a bit more appealing back in January.
"I used to like snow, but I’m getting so I don't like it this winter because it's every other day you have to scoop."
Darwin may be a little fed up with the snow this winter, but he says he is having some fun on this new machine. Bobcat actually loaned out the tractor so he could log some hours on it this winter."
"They haven't been out that long and they want to see if there are some bugs in them before they get it out in the market. Probably be cheaper in the long run this way."
A small bonus for a busy winter, he says Bobcat is getting its money's worth out of him, hours upon hours hauling, working on the new machine.
Travel was very slow in Sargent County; highways had blowing snow crossing ice covered roads. Down the road in Gwinner, there may have been more Bobcats per capita out pushing snow than any other place in the world as the town is fighting to get things opened back up.
City employees have been pushing, blowing, and clearing snow since 3 this morning. 3 workers including the City Manager spend days like this in the town’s maintainer, plows, and of course Bobcats. Two of the men put in around 14 hours today.
“It's fun for awhile, but it gets old after a little bit too.”
After clearing roadways, crews take sanders out to the intersections finishing the job.
