10th annual Freeze-a-thon raises money for Nokomis
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Some NDSU students are doing their part to keep money flowing into the Nokomis Child Care Center, after it nearly closed.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
It's the 10th annual Freeze-a-thon, put on by Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and Kappa Delta Sorority.
A handful of members are standing outside the Loaf-N-Jug on University and the Memorial Union to collect donations for Nokomis. The students work in shifts to have someone out there non stop for 120 hours.
"The Greeks definitely try and help out the communities the best we can. Nokomis is a child care center for underprivileged families so I’m sure a lot of families out there know what it's like with families out there of their own."
You can drop of donations through Thursday.
