Heideman wins the spelling bee
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A 7th grader at Park Christian has bragging rights, after the school's spelling bee today.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Austin Heideman correctly spelled the word photosynthesis to win the school title. 8th grader Ander Sawchuk took 2nd place.
The spelling bee began with 20-students, who had to pass a test to make the competition. Austin advances to the regional spelling bee in Fergus Falls on February 23rd.
