Schultz knows what it takes to win
(WDAY Sports) - The nationwide season is just one week old, but Fargo's David Schultz is already in better position today than he was at this time last year.By: Dom Izzo, WDAY
The Fargo South grad finished 32nd in his opening tournament last week in New Zealand and after the handful of near misses he had last year to get his first win, he says he knows what it's going to take.
“I think a couple times last year when I had a chance to win I kind of went into the final round thinking no matter what happens, I’m going to place well and you got to go into the final round with a mentality of I’m going to get it done right now and hopefully if I get in that position I will have learned from last year and hopefully be able to apply that.”
Schultz in Australia today, struggling right now at plus five, he's just started his 2nd round.
