Wheaton Pastor sentenced to over 11 years
Wheaton, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A controversial pastor in Wheaton, Minnesota will serve 11 and a half years in prison for kidnapping, burglary and assault.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
That sentence handed down by a judge in Big Stone County today.
Prosecutors proved Danny Barnes and others associated with his Thy Kingdom Come Ministry forced their way into a home in Beardsley, Minnesota. They threatened people with guns, assaulted one person, and held another man against his will.
Barnes established the Thy Kingdom Come Ministry in 1991 after being convicted of several crimes.
