Hope Lutheran members approve fund for ELCA

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - After suspending funding to the E-L-C-A, Fargo's largest ELCA congregation has approved a ten-thousand dollar fund for the organization.
This comes three months after the congregation suspended financial support to the ELCA after the vote to allow openly gay pastors in committed relationships.
Members approved, 40 to 37, the amendment to the budget at Hope Lutheran's annual meeting. The funding is the same amount the church gave last year.
