Once a year, a team of Concordia student volunteers host a science academy for these students. Kids went crazy for an electricity demonstration and then busied themselves at different stations where they created chemical reactions, learned about forensics, and even explored animal science.

The excitement level was even more explosive than the experiments happening around them.

“I like doing it more than I like watching it.”

“I think it's awesome. I never had anything like this when I was in elementary school so I think it's cool we can spark an interest like that.”

Science Academy is an after school event that's free for the students.
