Thompson man accused of child porn pleads guilty
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Thompson man accused of sharing child pornography over the Internet has pleaded guilty to felony charges of possessing child porn and promoting an obscene sexual performance by a minor.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Thompson man accused of sharing child pornography over the Internet has pleaded guilty to felony charges of possessing child porn and promoting an obscene sexual performance by a minor.
If a judge accepts the plea agreement between 22-year-old Simon Korst and prosecutors, Korst will be given a one-year sentence followed by five years of supervised probation. He might be eligible for work release. He is to be sentenced March 26.
State crime agents said they discovered a computer that was making child pornography available on the Web and traced it to Korst's home in December.
