LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) — Family members say the body of a Lutheran seminarian from the Midwest has been located in the rubble of the earthquake that hit Haiti.

The Rev. Judd Larson says Lutheran disaster response workers found Ben Larson's body in the collapsed St. Joseph's Home for Boys in Port-au-Prince. The seminarian's wife, Renee, and cousin, Jonathan Larson escaped from the home when the Jan. 12 earthquake struck.

Judd Larson tells the La Crosse Tribune the family is comforted in knowing his remains have been found at a time when so many others don't know the whereabouts of their loved ones.

The 25-year-old Larson was a Wartburg Theological Seminary student in Dubuque, Iowa, who went to Haiti for the month. He is a La Crosse Central High School graduate. His parents now live in Duluth, Minn.
