LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Firefighters worked overnight in the central Minnesota city of Little Falls to keep a fire that destroyed a pawnshop from spreading.

Fire Chief Mike Nieman says the blaze destroyed the Iron Hills pawnshop and an adjoining business, Bill's Decorating and Contracting.

High wind fanned the flames, but firefighters were able to save Lik-Nu Cleaners next door.

The St. Cloud Times reports about 30 firefighters from Little Falls and Randall worked from 10 p.m. Sunday until about 4:30 a.m. Monday.
