KMM cuts hours of some workers at 2 plants

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing is cutting the hours of some workers at its Hettinger and Regent plants.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing is cutting the hours of some workers at its Hettinger and Regent plants.

KMM makes electronic equipment for the aerospace industry. Company vice president Kristin Hedger says the reduction in hours is necessary because of a work slowdown by one of KMM's customers.

Hedger says the hour cuts affect less than 10 percent of the company's work force. KMM also has sites in Killdeer, Halliday and Dickinson.

Hedger says workers who have their hours cut will keep all of their benefits, including health insurance.
