Hundreds of people came to a bingo benefit at Cheney Middle School in West Fargo for 30-year old Sami Zebley.

What started out as a common cold turned to H1-N1, then a life and death battle. Sami has been in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator at a long-term care facility.

Her family says all the support helps them get through a trying time.

“It just blows me away. It just blows me away and there's going to be two more. Yeah, it's very important.”

One of those benefits will be held next Saturday at Faith Lutheran in West Fargo. The pancake feed and bake sale will start at nine a-m. You can also donate at First International Bank and Trust.
