FARGO, N.D. (AP) — An Iraq war veteran who was hit by a vehicle on a Fargo street and left for dead says he hopes to be back to normal within a couple of months.

Twenty-five-year-old Justin Bohmer was hit Jan. 13, suffering a cut on his head, three broken vertebrae and a broken right arm. He is walking again with the help of a back brace but says he remains in a lot of pain.

Bohmer says he remembers nothing about the incident. He says he hopes whoever hit him will turn himself or herself in to police.

His father, Dan Bohmer, says the reward for information leading to the conviction of the driver has surpassed $5,000.
