Text message asking for bank information a scam

(WDAY TV) - If you get a text message asking for bank information, do no respond. This from police after receiving numerous calls about a possible scam text that apparently was sent out through the Fargo Public School's messaging database.
The message says your card as been de-activated and asks for your bank card information and pin number.
Police don't believe it's connected to a particular bank because some people are getting messages which include bank names they have no connection with.
