Park River man makes a big difference for area veterans
(WDAY TV) - A Park River man is taking over a project that is making a big difference in the lives of area veterans.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
For the last 12-years a small group in Grafton has collected used stamps off envelopes to raise money for veterans.
Now, despite his disabilities, 35-year old Jesse Larson with the help up the friendship group is putting boxes in local business's to keep the collection going.
They're sent to a stamp collector who gives 25-dollars for every thousand stamps. To date, more than 300-thousand stamps have been collected.
