What is mostly likely a hoax has some people wondering how two coyotes became frozen in place after a recent storm.
(WDAY TV) - What is mostly likely a hoax has some people wondering how two coyotes became frozen in place after a recent storm.
Janie Adam emailed us these pictures of two coyotes that appeared to be literally frozen in their tracks, covered in snow.
Adam found the animals near her home, 7 miles west of Reynolds. While it looked to be a sad demise for the coyotes, the local game warden says it's most likely a hoax.
Grankin says he has never heard of or seen a coyote frozen in place before. He says coyotes will naturally find shelter in severe winter weather.
