Two men arrested after they attacked a man they invited to their apartment

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Two men have been arrested after police say they attacked a man they invited back to their apartment after the bar. 40-year old Henry Mitchell of Fargo was arrested for resisting a police officer, robbery, and possession of marijuana & paraphernalia and 23-year old Fargo man Jacob Mau was arrested for resisting a police officer and robbery.

Police say the 34-year-old victim didn't know the two attackers. The man was confronted outside of a bar. They invited him back to their apartment at 4311 15th Avenue south.

He went with, and when the got to the residence, they all went down to a garage to hang out around 2:30 am. That's when the two men attacked and robbed the stranger, taking his cash.

Police don't believe this attack is related to the three armed robberies in south Fargo last week.

"It really doesn't fit the same fact pattern. In those cases it was truly a random person walking down the street that was robbed."

Renner says no weapon was used in the attack.
